Trying to decide

Normally I am not a vitamin person. As in, I haven't taken a vitamin in... probably almost two decades. I'm not sure they're really necessary and since I do live in the PNW, a vitamin D supplement might make sense, but I've never chased down a study that made the benefit crystal clear and I'm always mistrustful of bandwagons.
But.
I'm on a pretty low calorie diet.
And I'm wondering if I should take a multivitamin for the duration, because I am most certainly not getting enough of some vitamins and minerals via diet at this point.
But OMG, finding out if vitamin supplementation while in a weight loss phase is useful or not is... like looking for the proverbial needles in a haystack. Because so fucking many scammers promote their scammy 'take this supplement for weight loss' bs all over the place, I haven't really been able to find any solid data.
I'll try again tomorrow. Blah.

Date: 7 Feb 2023 21:32 (UTC)Unrelated to vitamins, I while back I reported on a price increase in white whole wheat pastry flour at my local bulk food store. Happy to report the price went back down to 99 cents a pound! (i noticed other items in the flour section where they had crossed out and lowered prices; i wonder if their supplier lowered prices?)

I'm still paying stupid amounts for my breakfast yogurts, and what's worse, they seem to be moving towards whole milk versions of them, I hope they leave a few flavors of low fat! It's skyr. It's supposed to be non-fat. A small bit of fat, I can deal but whole milk? Ew. I don't like the mouth-feel of high fat dairy, except butter, and this is weird, some brands of brie I can no longer eat, they make me shudder, others are fine. WTF, self?
