Today, we found out that my mother is a Canadian citizen.

Today, I found out that I am a Canadian citizen.

And today, my children found out that they too are Canadian citizens.

I cried.

Same for my siblings. We chatted with a lawyer who said yeah, file the paperwork, it'll take a while because swamped, but yeah.

Wow, that's great! I saw something on IG which suggested I could get British citizenship (through my maternal grandmother) but I haven't dug any deeper than an initial quick search online to confirm the general idea.
