One of those 'I am so blogging this' conversations at the dinner table tonight.

It started with Linnea talking about some friends of the next door neighbours, who have a dog called "I don't remember". So of course we all started talking about a dog called I Don't Remember, and other silly pet names.

Then Linnea said, "I'm going to call Chloé FurBall and I'm going to call Gus Fur Balls!" and I lost it. Laughed my head off. AC was laughing too.

Dh? Apparently did not hear the plural. Which of course makes me laugh even harder. Perry missed it too.

Then a few moments later, Linnea repeated herself and dh started to laugh, he had missed the plural. Perry was laughing too.

I asked Perry if he 'got it' and he said -still giggling, I am- "Of course. I know what epididymises (*) are!" Which of course caused me to lose whatever remaining control I had.

All this started by Linnea, the child who named her stuffed bison, Horny.

(*) Yes, the correct plural is epididymides.

We have plans to name a dog Dogmatix (or maybe just Mattox) and a cat Catatonic (or just Atonic?) - in homage to Asterix and Obelix, of course. Granted, we have no pets and no short term plans to acquire any, so this is a long term plan...
