Random odds and ends

Posted Chapter 6 of my romance novel over on my "author" site: A Hand at the Edges. I still don't have a clear plan as to what to do with this. I mean, aside from getting people to read it, LOL.

My sciatic nerve is still pissed with me. It's fine for a while then, blam, ouch and I can barely do more than hobble around for a few hours. Do. Not. Like.

I was called for Jury Duty on Federal District Court in WA. Of course.... I made a hair appmnt. Then I scheduled an overnight camp-and-hike on top of it. So I moved the appmnt to the following week. And I have jury duty that week. Don't know if I'd be called in, but I can't risk it, so I reschedule again, same week but a 6pm appmt. What is going to come up next?

James Comey indicted? I'll pay lip service to the fact that we all know this is completely done by the DOJ for revenge, blah blah blah, but inside? I'm laughing. Stupid fuck got us here, he can rot in Alligator Alcatraz for all I care.

Every single public health update continues to make me sick to my stomach.

I was able to get my Covid and flu shots today. It took me a bit to find the Novavax shot, but I did it. My beloved son, who gets sick from the MRA vaccines like I do, did not wait, got the Pfizer shot, and ended up in bed for over 24 hours. So.

Rowing tomorrow, we have to be up at 5:15. OMG.

Eldercare is hitting like a ton of bricks for both my mom and my MIL. Dh is spending a lot of time helping his mom (and even more catastrophizing about the amount of time he is going to have to spend, only to have it take less time than he expected, sigh). His sister is mostly being helpful, except when she tries to con him into bad financial stuff. He isn't an idiot, thank goodness!
