Of course it was a white Christian MAGAt. Duh. I think most of us on the left suspected it would be.

Oh and the right? Is busy scrubbing posts from twitter and trying to change the subject.

Two things keep coming to mind.

What the fuck is the matter with online culture that we can radicalize someone to the point that they think killing someone whose views are just a hair less horrific than theirs is a thing to even consider. I mean, I know Nick Fuentes is more extreme than Kirk was, but both are pretty damn cray-cray.

The other thing disturbs me even more. Any carry is allowed at that university. He chose a sniper-like method (yeah, I know, snipers can do better from further, whatever) allowing for a precise kill. I can't get over the fact that I feel relief that he did not, in fact, show up with an AR15 and take out a whole bunch of people along with Kirk. Because the people there? Just because they are stupid, racists, hate filled and hateful pieces of dog shit doesn't mean they deserve to die.
