So. Friday.

Perry was up in Vancouver with his athletes/team for a regatta.

Linnea was in Bellingham.

Dh was at trains.

I got to work an hour early, so I was able to leave an hour early. Dh, I know, wouldn't be back for at least three hours (it ended up being closer to four.)

As I was driving up to the house, I realized... I didn't have a house key. I don't have one in my work bag, for various bad reasons. The key we have hidden is two locks out of date.

Feh.

So, I, um, had to break into the house. My bedroom window is too high for me to climb in without a ladder, so I got the ladder, removed the screen, and managed, inelegantly but effectively, to break into the house.

Yay me!

Today I went to the hardware store and got two keys made. One for my work bag. The other is hidden. So that next time I pull a boneheaded move like this one, I at least don't have to haul my fat ass through a window.
