On to the semi-finals

Perry, first of all, made weight, and made it into the semi-finals at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta. With a time of 7:26, which he thinks is a PR.

I don't know when the semi-finals are, probably tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

St Catherine's! We went there the year that Cassie rowed - but there were storms that weekend so the regatta was messed up and we didn't get to see any rowing. Had to leave early to get Zane to a lacrosse tournament. And then brought undeclared fresh strawberries back over the border...

[There were so many restrictions on what food we could send with the team. For example, you can cross into Canada with raw meat, but not meat pies? Most fruit okay but not apples. Those might not be exactly correct, but it was stuff like that. So on the way back, we did not declare the strawberries we'd recently bought at a farm stand, partly because we forgot about them but we did eat them very soon afterwards!]
