Spent the day wandering around Skye. Our major destination, because we're weird, was a stone age fort of some sort, towards the south of the island. Hiked up to it, it was pretty cool, old rocks, and the view from up there was, again, spectacular.
Loving the mix of remote with civilization never really that far. It's a strange mix.
Driving is something else. All these one lane roads with pullouts and mostly it works. People seem to leave their egos at the first one, I guess, because we haven't seen any major rushing to avoid giving way, or any such. It's funny how most people behave in a situation when they are clearly expected to behave well. Don't know if that's making sense but.
Turns out that Anne-Chloe, among her other talents, is a damn good photographer. I know Perry was decent as well, but they borrowed our camera a lot today and between the two of them, at various places, they managed to get some pretty decent shots.
My best shots of the trip -and it isn't over yet- are going to end up being the ones I took of the little port on Iona, I think.
