I love them all
2 Sep 2022 16:11I love them all and I am looking forward to traveling with them.
But.
I might skip town tomorrow and leave all of my kids here. And maybe my husband too.
Anne-Chloe is trying to micromanage and take too much stuff (a suitcase, a carryon, her backpack).
Perry has wandered off to hang out with a friend. He has not packed, or EVEN thought about what he was packing.
Linnea claims she is "going on vacation" and "doesn't need" any cell service.
Oh yeah, that too. All kids claim they're fine without cell service, but then give all the exceptions to that statement with numerous "as long as I have--" which translates to "as long as I have SMS/MMS and DATA I'll be fine. Yeah, little darlings, I don't use voice on my phone either.
David was supposed to be off today but "one more thing" had to be finished. It's 4pm.
LOL, and if that frustration from a few hours ago had just been the worse of it. We went to check in, one hour after it opened so 23 hours before the flight. And found out that our rows 16 and 17 on the left side of the aircraft had been moved. To the toilet row. I know people talk about being upgraded. I've never been upgraded but this is at least the 4th or 5th time in the last decade that I've been downgraded to the toilet row. As a fat woman, when I can't recline in defense to someone reclining in front of me... well, I am very uncomfortable and very unhappy.
How this happened? Apparently, they changed aircraft. In the new place, rows 16 and 17 are upsell rows. So they sold them and put us in the toilet row. UGH. I'm so frustrated. And, it was all of us, us and the kids -we're booked on separate itineraries since they going home before we do.
