Houghton transfer station is closest to us. It no longer accepts anything longer than 25ft and SUV and trailer is longer than that.
We'll have to drive down to Factoria, which is further away but should be fine.
That said, the new 25ft rule is because people were being stupid and almost falling in, what with bigger SUVs and trailers. Because it's a new rule, King County is offering a $14 discount on fees if you have to go to another transfer station.
Houghton is on our way to Factoria.
LOL. We're cheap, but not THAT cheap. We'll go straight to Factoria.
A quick aside: dumping the three twin futons in the trash: $28 because we probably won't be over the minimum. Cost to recycle them: $90, $30 each. Dudes. Futon != mattress.
