1. So. I play Wordle... well, dh and I play together. When we play separately we get similar results, and making the time to play together and mind-fuck the game over tea and coffee has become a fun little routine. I always put my results in Townscaper online and I love that game to much that I bought the full version. I create worlds there but my fave is the Wordle World, with all out of results for a while in buildings.

Note the building of shame that killed our streak, exiled out to the edge of the world!

2. Why do people love DST? It SUCKS. Congress is pushing yet again to make it permanent. Dudes, standard time is when the sun is at its highest on the meridian at around noon. This is how things should be, this ridiculous "Sunshine projection Act" is not ok. Sunrise would not be until almost 9am through most of December if we went to PDT year-round and that would suck for schoolkids and would make my exercising in the morning very unhappy. People keep on saying "but it would be light in the evenings..." and just no. Unless you have a job that lets you out at 5pm, you'd still be going home in the dark. The problem is the short days, and if you don't like that, move further South, it can't be fixed with shifting around which hours are in daylight and which are not.

My stupid state legislature voted to go to perma-DST if the US congress voted for it, and they might.

I have a feeling this is yet another morning people thing. I am NOT a morning person. Left to myself, I'm up until 2 am quite happily. However, if I need to get up in the morning and have a productive day, I need that morning light. Sunrise at 9am would have me completely in a fog.

DST sucks. It's almost 11 already.

3. Friends. So so wonderful.
