Three things for Sunday

1. We have a family Spotify plan. I want to drop it, but I also don't want to disrupt Perry and Linnea, who listen a lot. I feel like it's not their decision to boycott, so until I have a replacement, I'm not ditching. Ugh. And yes, they would understand why, both of them, but at this point, with them being at uni etc, it's not something I want to ask of them right now.

3. I ordered a set of knitting needles from amazon and found some yarn. I'm going to try to teach myself to knit again. I used it, when I was living in France... made three tops for myself, and I had one unfinished cardigan, missing half a sleeve, because I lost the piece of paper with the stitch additions, sigh. Anyhow, this time I'm going to see if I can teach myself to knit left-handed. My roommates who taught me just showed me right-handed and while I learned, I never had the dexterity to be super-fast. I'm hoping that by learning left-handed, I'll be able to speed up a bit. As for why? Well, I don't have any finger hobbies: I don't quilt, cross stitch, paint, crochet, anything. I see my mom, with dementia not having anything she can really do. I'm hoping to learn enough that I'll be able to at least occupy my hands and part of my brain if I am ever in that situation.
