Three things for Sunday
16 Jan 2022 15:471. Stayed up real late taking with Perry last night. He confirmed what I already knew, that he was in bad emotional shape last spring. I helped as much as I could, but there wasn't much that we could really do, considering covid, remote etc. But we chatted about many things and I was reminded, yet again, of how much I like my kids.
2. We need to renew Linnea's passport and we have an appointment on Wednesday in Bellingham. We filled and printed out the paperwork when she was home over the holidays, and a month-out appointment was the soonest we could get. What amuses me? My parents got my first passport, back when I was 4 or 5. Since then, from 15 onwards, I have held a US passport, and it's usually a non-expired US passport. All this to say that I've applied for quite a few passports. Because of kids travel and family abroad, I've applied for a bunch of kid passports as well. And yet every single damn time I get the paperwork together for an application, I am 100% sure I'm missing something. Surely I can't be smart or organized enough to figure this out, and there must be an i I've forgotten to dot or a t I've forgotten to cross. There never is. But every single time, I worry.
3. Working on my discussion. Confused about some results that don't agree with other published results. Will need to talk to Lynn at some point this week, LOL.
