I finished Allie Brosh's book, which I was 3/4 done with, to make my number of books read this year a prime 79. I like primes. I'd been wanting to finish the book for a while, but only read it in shorts chunks, because I kept on going back to the traumatic events and it hurt.

But here we are, I'm not finishing anything more today so:

2021 books.

For 2022, I am so making myself one of those book-filled ornaments!

Going through my books:

Best book of the year nonfiction: _Breath from Salt_. The one that I think was the most useful, alas, was _Twilight of Democracy_
Best book of the year fiction: _The Last Watch_. Hands down, easy pick. I also loved _A Marvelous Light_.
Worst book of the year nonfiction: _American Rule_ Doesn't help that the author is very full of himself and a certain bro-ness permeated the book.
Worst book of the year fiction: Touch call here, because the most disappointing was not the worst. The worst was _Cinderella Is Dead_, which was a non-sensical stupid book with absolutely nothing good about it. The most disappointing, however, was Jenn Lyons's _The House of Always_, because I've loved other books in the series and this one was dreadful.

Cassie and Matthew have similar tastes in fiction to you. Matthew really liked Hail Mary (then again, i don't see your rating, maybe you hated it and don't have similar tastes :^)
