Three things for Sunday

1. Ah the couple bonding experience of last night! We spent the evening, well into the morning on a fly hunt. We usually see flies in the house at the rate of two or three, once or twice a summer. There have never been more, and never in cold weather. We had at least a dozen flying around. The fly swatter was nowhere to be found so they were taken out mostly by dh with a Land's End catalog (sorry, cute family with in the fuzzy pajamas) and Twisp, who is due a Churu for his work. Just. So. Gross. Turns out they're not standard nasty house flies, but something called cluster flies which, thank heavens, need earthworms to finish their life cycle so will not breed inside. NO idea where they are coming from, but there are many congregated on the downstairs door. Don't know if that is their ingress, or if they are trying to get out. Still, disgusting. I will use all means at my disposal, death by traumatic injury, chemical warfare, or predators to eradicate them. Dh doesn't seem to think the Pentagon will supply me with a small neutron bomb.

2. We got the stupid china cabinet sold! Actually, it was our music teacher who listed it, coordinated everything and now it's out of my living room. It's the only piece of furniture that I would have kept, but we don't have room for it, so eh. Now I can move some stuff around so my entry way doesn't look like a canyon with shelving walls.

3. The Wheel of Time is out on amazon. I SO want to sit and watch the whole damn but... but dh does want to watch it with me and we're running around doing stuff, so, like for Good Omens, we'll just wait until we have to time to do it justice. It might be a few weeks. But I. Am. So. Excited.
