What I underestimated.
20 Aug 2021 12:02I figured the stupid Maggots would resist vaccination because they are stupid and they long ago pooped out their brains.
What I honestly did not expect was that Republican officials would be totally ok with killing off their own voters, since R's are more likely not not be vaccinated, to "own" Biden and the libs. That the governors of TX, FL, AZ, AL etc would be willing to sacrifice human beings to their golden calf, and happily so, in hopes of making Biden a one-term president.
I have to say that that stuns me. I didn't expect it to be that bad.
Also, good pieces of the breakdown of stupid: We Fact-Checked Fox News' Racist Lie. It Turns Out, the Pandemic Is Worse in Republican States from The Root.

Date: 21 Aug 2021 03:24 (UTC)Since African Americans are 12.9 percent of the state’s population and 7.9 percent of vaccinations, Patrick knows Black Texans are more vaccinated than white Texans.
if they are 13 of population and 8% of vaccinated population, seems like that is under-represented, that is, less vaccinated than white Texans. (But what I found at KFF shows that white Texans are 41% of population and 38% of vaxxed Texans, so also under-represented in vaxxed pop.)

Date: 21 Aug 2021 15:29 (UTC)How I read it: Dan Patrick was implying that Black unvaccinated Texans (and Black unvaccinated people) were the source of the "pandemic of the unvaccinated" but the rate of Black people in the population is low enough that they're not the major problem of unvaccinateds despite what he said. He said the biggest group in most states that have not been vaccinated are Blacks which might be true (in some states) RATE wise, but they're certainly not the biggest number.

Date: 21 Aug 2021 15:34 (UTC)Pretty much a racist dog whistle implying hordes of unvaccinated Black people.
