Mom in the ER again.
19 Mar 2021 20:15My mom is in the ER again. Ugh. It's so scary.
I'm waiting to see what's up before heading down. My sister doesn't seem to think it's mega-serious (but Urgent Care sends everything but minor stuff to the ER), but who knows?
I have a full week of lab work planned for next week, it's the last requirement for my committee lab wise and I was hoping to be done. If things turn out ok (lab and Mom not being urgent), I'll haul my ass down late March and stay until her birthday, when dh and Linnea can meet up with me. It would be a pain in the butt, but my sister and BIL are both vaccinated (as is my mom) so they could do some more daring stuff while I spelled them for a bit. Dunno. Even getting down to Bend is problematic, I'd probably have to rent a car and drive myself.
Anyhow, random musings here.
In other news, my SIL managed to score herself a vaccine. She isn't eligible, of course, but eh, she knew someone.
ETA. Sister texted last night to say that all is (more or less) well, she was probably dehydrated and not using her O2 at night, which makes her sleepy during the day and and and.
