My daughter,
20 Feb 2021 17:43My daughter, Anne-Chloe, shall now be known as "Hermione".
She is taking a class to prep for the MCAT, as well as an additional chemistry class.
Her scores are either 100% or, if not perfect, the highest score in the class.
She calls me wailing every time she misses a point or two. Dude. It doesn't matter if you're missing a point or two, as long as you're learning WHY you are missing those points! The grades don't matter, what is going to matter is the MCAT. Stop freaking out that you got a 98% (highest grade: 98, class average 83, iirc)!
Also, yesterday she had a chem test, automatic score was 85%. Why, you ask? Because question 2, worth 15 points, didn't have a question. She showed me the screen cap. Just some data and nothing telling you what the prof wanted from the data. She did a bunch of possible calculations, then just finished the rest of the test, and then called me in a panic because her grade was so low. Still the highest in the class, because NOBODY could answer question 2, there was no question.
WTF, child? Get a grip! :-)
