At that point in writing a novel where it could go two ways, and I can't decide which is better.
I could split the stream, and write two completely different last thirds and see which I like better.
I could write one and if it doesn't end up feeling right, write the other.
I could read from the beginning (never a good thing) and see if I'm delusional in thinking I have a choice.
I could throw up my hands, leave it for a month and see if I have more clarity in February.
How do real writers deal with this type of shit?
