One of those days
31 Mar 2021 19:15One of those days when I've driven close to 50 miles and never been more than 7 miles from the house.
Linnea needed shuttling around, she had an event as school for seniors (100% outside) and then rowing. Dh had to work late and the water was crappy so she got out of rowing early. So I had to do that pick up as well.
Blah.
Now I don't feel like making dinner.
Linnea, who is such a social person, said on her way to the event at school, "I'm pretty much over friendship at this point." That made me sad. This year has been so very hard.
Looks like Inslee is opening vaccination for "everyone" in WA state 15 April. Yay, two weeks before I expected. The only thing that kinda bugs me: those of us in our 40s and 50s, with one comorbidity count so little that we don't get any priority over healthy 16 year olds. I mean, come on, Perry and I should not be eligible the same day, our risks are vastly different. If I get Covid, I will probably die.
Anyhow.
And I'm caught in limbo about going into the lab tomorrow. I am officially due for my covid test, and I have an appointment, BUT my advisor didn't re-enroll me in the badge program for this quarter, and I'm not sure they'll test me without the enrollment. And -there are a lot ands here- I don't want to just go up -3 hour drive- for a 10 second covid test, only to have to go back up the next day or so to get lab work done. I officially can't be in the building without the badge. I didn't notice unil this evening. Sigh. Dilemma. Too many moving parts.
