What can I say?

Apparently I follow my demographic (suburban moms) in having a crush on Fauci. LOL. And he looks SO happy in all his interviews now.

Fauci clip, really short.

Biden's plan for Covid looks good... aside from now having the vaccine, it could have all been implemented a year ago. Trump so very clearly was incompetent, and surrounded himself with idiots.

Anyhow. I am so ready to see life start falling back into normalcy. I just hope people respond so we can truly get out of this.

Vaccine situation.

WTF, states? From what I can tell, the majority of you are forcing people to find their own vaccines in a piecemeal of providers, a pharmacy here, a doctor's office there.

LOL, a medical practice in Kent WA made 6000 (automatic) appointments, they had 100 doses of the vaccine.

People all over are complaining about the time and effort it's taking to find doses for the elderly relatives, or, if they have time and are internet savvy, find doses for themselves.

This. Is. Stupid.

Private entities should be kicked out of this distribution entirely. You don't want 100 people lining up in a Walgreens waiting for the three shots they have available.

Large government (city, state, whatever) run efforts are going to be more productive. Around me? Microsoft has offered buildings in their (empty) campus. Take them up on the offer. Use the Convention Center, the Tacoma Dome, the state fairgrounds buildings. Places meant to host LOADS of people, where social distancing is possible, parking is available, and ventilation was set up for large crowds.
