By this I mean:
OMG YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!!!! if you like fantasy at all. If you don't, probably not.
What book?
Naomi Novik's _A Deadly Education_.
Seriously a wonderful book, an excellent start to a series, awesome world building, as usual, and engaging characters.
Ask Linnea. I was 15 minutes late picking her up from rowing because I could not put the damn book down until I'd finished it.
