At first it's beautiful, and white and fluffy. The kids have off from school, and dh works from home. The world feels a bit off kilter but in a nice way.
Eventually however, it starts to melt. But not really. Just a bit. Enough to be heavy and sloppy, and it doesn't look quite as fairy-like any longer.
The roads are still covered with ice/snow-and-ice/slush, but since we don't plow and wait until it melts, it's annoying and slippery.
But it was beautiful while it lasted.
