Books for uni
3 Jan 2021 12:43OMG.
Perry's books again.
$350 for a physics book, really? I mean, really? WTF? Plus another $175 or some such for the online access?
And the English class. Four versions of the Odyssey. As if they're going to have time to read that damn book four times in a 12 week quarter. Come on.
French at least is cheap. Montesquieu's books are long out of copyright! ;)
Last straw of annoyance: the lab notebook, from the WWU bookstore? Is. Not. Available. You own the fucking BOOK, dudes, print copies and get them available.
ETA He ended up borrowing the physics books from the same friend who'd loaned him the OChem books. FWIW, I wrote her a big check. I'd rather her than the publishing company or amazon :)
