Ugh, such a scary, smoky time in the West.
Our air quality has been declining since this morning. It's smells like smoke outside. Linnea is freaking out, she's scared the fires are closer than we are telling her they are. There is some ash on the ground and on the cars. The air smells of smoke.
By some accounts Seattle has the worse air in the world today, followed by Portland, Vancouver BC, and SF. But others, Seattle is in second position, after Portland. Not a record to covet.
At least the heat is moderated somewhat.
I haven't been out to walk today, rowing was cancelled for Perry and Linnea for the foreseeable future.
This West Coast burning and causing major smoke plumes is truly getting frightening.

I'm not sure why we're so much less red than SF even though the air quality is worse here, I'll have to look that up.
