Back in February, I was planning on taking a trip to Wales (and Iceland) in August.

We all know that is obviously not happening.

But I borrowed about six books on travel in Great Britain and Wales. They were due back early March, that much I remember.

Needless to say, I've had them since. They've been sitting on my end table, goading me, reminding me of the vacation I was hoping would happen but will not, at least this year.

I just found out today that my library will be opening the book drop on Tuesday from 3-pm. I'll walk up tomorrow and sadly return that pile of books.

At least I won't have to look at them anymore. And... hopefully next year, I can borrow them again, right? Please say I'll be able to travel next year. PLEASE?

Yeah. We had to cancel our trip to England. Not that they'd let us in right now. Damn orange shit-gibbon.

I can relate! I returned my Northern California / Bay Area travel guides (for the moving trip in April that got cancelled) as soon as our library drop boxes opened up.
The procrastinator part of me said "but they'll move eventually; you could still read them to prepare" but the very-rarely-seen action-oriented part of me took them back.
