Mop rant

I am so effing sick of mop "systems". So. Sick.

Over the years, I cannot tell how many mop handles I've thrown away. I buy them, with a few extra refills and use them.

Invariably, when I go to purchase more refills I find out that.... they are no longer made. This other cleaning "system" is now the darling, and god forbid one should be able to purchase any refill not for that mop head.

And god forbid anything be compatible.

So next time I go to the dump, one more mop handle is going to be tossed. Because apparently, type G mop refills aren't a thing any longer.

We have one of those Roomba mopping robots, and Matthew tried to make replacement mop pads from the Costco yellow microfiber cloths. Alas, they did not work - too thick or something. But they do work on my "acoustic" mop handle IIRC. I'm just too lazy to use that one...
