Grrr, school district.
20 Feb 2020 17:28So. I do NOT want to miss my littlest baby's last first day of k-12. This is a major point for us, we need to be here for the first day of school.
She'll be going to CA with her friend. Friend's mom works for the school district, so they have to be back by day 1. I'm not concerned about that, they're driving, they can adjust.
But I need to make airline reservations, and the longer I wait, the more expensive and more restrictive things become.
But the school district has not yet released their calendar for the year. Supposedly it has to wait until the collective bargaining agreement is finalized... which is all well and good, but when the eff is that going to be?.
Grr.
Normally, I could guess and it would probably be ok, but Labor Day is "late-ish" this year, 7 Sep, so they might actually start the week before. I wish I could assume that, but I can't because every time they've started earlier than Labor Day, they've gotten a lot of pushback from parents who hate that, so I can't 100% say what they'll do.
Grr.
Ah well.
