Before crawling into bed, I got my menus done. This will make tomorrow easier. Nothing inspiring, it'll be fine and get us fed.
Tuesday: pork chops, green beans, mashed potatoes.
Wednesday: chicken curry, naan, roasted cauliflower.
Thursday: eggs, mushrooms, tortillas.
Friday: chicken sausage, pasta, zucchini.
Saturday: pork tenderloin, green beans, rice.
Sunday: ramen with leftover tenderloin, green beans or bok choi
I wonder if veggies last longer in the fridge if they are raw or blanched? I should think blanched, but I don't know. See, the green beans I get... one package is too many for all of us, 1/2 not quite enough. I usually have green beans a few a week but every once in a while, I find my 1/4 left one package don't last too long. And since there no longer appears to be a 'best by' on TJ's green beans, I've been wondering about blanching 'em. I'll look it up, I guess, and if I don't find a satisfactory answer, I'll just experiment. I can design a decent experiment to evaluate that. I hope.
