The cats peed all over the couch -well, on the tarp over the couch- again, of course.
A few scenes from the airport....
White dude with dreads and a scraggly beard at the airport who talked his wife into giving him her upgraded seat on the plane. That wasn't cool, ya know? She seemed reluctant to me. His rationale? So she could sit by their kid. The kid was about 10, and should have been able to sit with his other parent. She said she didn't feel like getting and walking over to the counter to make the change, and he immediately said if she would just give him her ID, that would be fine. He boarded by himself in first class, they were stuck in one of the later boarding groups. I dunno. It felt off to me, as an interaction, but then again, I have a long standing suspicion that there is never much good about white guys who wear dreads. My prejudice, I know.
People with a medium size dog, trying to fit it in a small cat carrier (morons), then tried to get on the plane with the dog's head sticking out of the carrier. Got a bit upset when they were told no, the whole dog needed to be in the carrier, the guy tried and tried, no dice, couldn't get the dog to lay down, so he said he couldn't get the dog in, could they just board like that, and the lady was like no, won't fit etc. His wife, who had been dealing with the kids, came over to attempt to shove the head in, while he then held one of their kids. The dog put up a lot of pretty passive resistance until she managed to get the carrier closed. Everyone looked pretty flustered.
And now I must go through the unpleasant task of tracking a few days of food for WW. I wonder how to track a full day in which I ate nothing? I could just leave it at zero, I suppose, but then it looks like I didn't track. Maybe I can quick add some zero point stuff? I'll see.
Whee.
Real life resumes tomorrow. Linnea studied for her math final (on Wednesday) on the plane. Quadratics. At least both of us can help her.
