We ended up having to do two nights of leftovers this week (in part because Linnea decided to make ramen rather than eating leftovers one night, HARUMPH!) so I have one meal planned too many. Which means something gets pushed back or skipped.

Linnea wants to skip the chicken with couscous. None of my kids like couscous.

Dh would prefer we skip the roasted chicken sausage with onions and potatoes.

I'd rather skip the spaghetti with tomato sauce, because if there is anything with tomato sauce in it, the dishes needs to be handled with caution so as not to end up with stained plasticware.

I cook ergo I win is what I told Linnea, and normally I'd stick to that. Except that I've already defrosted the damn ground beef. And bought the chicken breast.

Dh wins.
