I made them, just hadn't posted them. The weekend got a bit... lazy. After Perry and Linnea's regatta Husky Open, so with the wonderful viewing of the Montlake Cut, we pretty much went home and... hung out. My aunt was there, we all talked, and just... vegged. It was nice. And not something we get to do too often.
Also, progress is being made on the bathroom fix! We're slowly getting to the end game.
And we went out for pizza on Sunday night rather that cooking. That was nice. Weight Watchers hasn't been so nice, though, what with some general blues on my part, some stress, and some laziness. I'm back on track this week, and working to fix the things that help me sabotage myself, namely not eating lunch (because boring!) and then being hungry an hour before dinner and not good things happen! I didn't make it to my meeting last week, because of a meeting at Linnea's school, and some talking with dh after, and while I can't say it is a conscious thing, I do believe it makes a difference in how I approach the week. I dunno.
Ah well. Onward!
Monday: matar paneer with naan.
Tuesday: leftovers.
Wednesday: leftovers.
Thursday: pork tenderloin, roasted potatoes, cauliflower cheese. Linnea has state mandated high stakes testing today, and when asked what she wanted for dinner, said she didn't care but "if we have to have a veggie, can it at least have cheese?"
Friday: taco salad, romaine.
Saturday: chicken sausage, roasted cauliflower, pasta.
Sunday: green bean stir fry with chicken breast, rice.
Next week, I need to get back on the freezer and pantry eat-down.
I bought some asparagus the other day. I was going to prepare it that evening but got short for time, so I left it on the counter. The next day it had grown. And yeah, it's pretty much kept on growing...
So I give you: Still Life with Cat.

And just because. I've been watching a TV show from back when on youtube over the past few months, and OMG, I cannot stand the men the main character picks. They're all ugh beyond words. I'm almost done with the second to last season, and it's not looking good. I remembered... that's one of the reasons I don't watch TV. When I can't stand something that happens, it drives me NUTS. The only thing that got me to finish Buffy was that someone let slip when that horrid Angel would soon be out of the picture.
