Menus this week.
4 Mar 2018 21:10Blah. My life is falling apart, people. The only thing -major major major thing, however- that does not keep me awake at night with anxiety is that my relationship with my husband is rock solid.
That is, except for the nights when I wake up positive he's going to divorce me for being a stupid fat jerk.
Anyhow. I'm trying to keep things together here.
My big adventure this week will be to see what happens when I try to jerk a pork tenderloin. We've never tried jerk spices on pork, but I think it'll be good.
Monday: chicken breasts, pasta, roasted broccoli
Tuesday: leftover steak with spinach salad, grapefruit, and grapefruit vinaigrette
Wednesday: leftovers
Thursday: bourbon chicken with rice, green beans
Friday: matar paneer, naan
Saturday: polenta and baked eggs with tomato sauce.=
Sunday: jerked pork tenderloin, roasted yam purée.
Matar paneer has been on the menu for the past several weeks.... it's all made from stuff I have, so I don't have to shop for it, which means that it's one of the dishes that gets pushed off the menu if we have too many leftovers or we're lazy and get teriyaki, or everyone is too tired to eat and we have ramen.
