Time to start cleaning out pantry, freezers and also the fridge! So lots of random meals. Starred items are stuff I already have in the freezers or weird stuff from the fridge! Like the can of biscuits I bought for a sleepover of Linnea's friends when I would not be home to supervise breakfast, but then they made muffins instead.
Also, no longer pre-planning veggies. I've had some bad luck recently with veg going bad much sooner than expected, so I'll buy according to what looks great rather than not looking at, say, the bok choi because I have green beans on the menu! We'll see.
Monday: strata, carry over from last week
Tuesday: leftovers
Wednesday: biscuits (*), ham steak (*), eggs
Thursday: taco salad, with previously frozen taco meat (*)
Friday: chicken breast (*) with some rub, roasted potatoes, green beans or some other veg
Saturday: chili (*) with cornbread. Need to cycle through my beans stash!
Sunday: Asian pork tenderloin, rice, broccoli or some other veg.
