Ursula K. Le Guin, Acclaimed for Her Fantasy Fiction, Is Dead at 88.

My favourite author, someone whose books shaped the reader that I am.

I was lucky enough to get to meet her a few years back at a book reading in Bend. I was able to share something very personal about her books with her, and she laughed and told me something personal in return. I cherish that exchange.

I've been weepy since I heard the news.
