OK, maybe this is only funny if you know AC.
Today at school, she scratched her finger on a fence. It's about... oh, maybe 1cm long, shallow. Nothing serious AT ALL. I mean, Linnea might be demanding an ambulance to the ER, or at least a bandaid, but nothing major for most people.
She showed it to me before going to bed tonight to ask if she should do anything for it. I suggested washing it with soap and hot water.
And she said, "No! That'll hurt!"
And dh said, "You have got to be kidding me!"
See, this is AC. The child who had a broken bone set without painkillers. Who flips over steel beams, hits them on the way down, and gets up and back on. The one who ran around the gym with a broken foot, and who played soccer on said broken foot. Who dealt without falling apart with the pain of appendicitis a lot longer than most others would have, and who didn't need pain killers after surgery.
That AC.
Is whining because the itty bitty teeny tiny cut on her finger might sting.
