nwhikerFeeling a bit... meh... about the Beijing Winter Olympics. China's human rights record is so bad, I just feel that having them to parade around as benevolent hosts is... kinda gross.
Mike Pence said Trump was wrong and that he didn't have the power to overturn the election. Trump put out a statement saying that it was Mike Pence who was wrong and he did too! have the power to overturn the results. Holy fucking hell. Trump is admitting, no problems, out loud, over and over and over that they were trying to overturn a legitimate election. Merrick Garland? Please?
Also, the RNC censuring Cheney and Kinzinger, and -ugh- this bit of ridiculous: "The RNC declared the January 6 insurrection “legitimate political discourse” by “ordinary citizens.”" What kind of total bullshit is that? I mean, come on!
The coup stuff gets more and more frightening by the day.
