nwhikerWe have an older futon frame that we love, made for us by the same guy who made our bed. We hadn't been using it for a while because it needed some repairs and the cat trashed the futon itself during a series of UTIs. But dh fixed the frame and we ordered foam cushions and covers. Here's the result: I'm quite pleased. Cover is denim.

Linnea insisted, so a small amount of decorating has been done. The tree is lit but not decorated. I wanted to make bows, and probably still will. Reason for bows rather than ornaments? I can usually get some help decorating, but nobody wanted to remove the ornaments, which are mostly breakable, and put them away. So bows this year. I bought pretty ribbon. We shall see. I've never made a decent fancy bow before.
Anne-Chloe is getting back from Yurp today and I'm so happy. Not just because well, we miss her, but because her poor dog does! He did fine until Sunday, and then just started to get really sad on Monday. He is going to be so thrilled!
