What a weird feeling

nwhikerJust sent a few emails to a couple of art galleries asking about the availability and price of a photographic print I want.
I feel like such an idiot when I do shit like that... I mean, I wish they'd just post the freaking $$ online so I can look, LOL, and forget about it, rather than forcing me to make an inquiry that is probably going to end with 'well, we do have the 5inx3in index card version of this print for $10,000, are you interested?' and a quote commensurate with the cost of a house for a full-size print.
Blah.
ETA. As expected. 25,000 for the size I would have loved, 7,500 for the smallest one that I don't have quite a spot for (too big for some spots, too small for the place I would have put it.). It was inline with what I was expecting, but I was hoping against hope that I might be overly pessimistic. Alas.
Oh. And then you have to add the framing, and the shipping. LOL.
