Debating canning a whole bunch of applesauce.
Since I got back on WW, I'm having a 1/2 cup of homemade apple sauce every morning with my oatmeal. I make it every 10 days or so in the crockpot.
However, at some point, the fruit stand closes down and I'll be stuck with supermarket apples and/or supermarket applesauce neither which are as good.
I could freeze applesauce, it does freeze well, but freezer space is always more at a premium than plain shelf space.
Since I really like the crockpot method, I could just keep buying apples and doing a batch every few days. It would mean my canning equipment would be on the counter for the next few weeks, but eh.
Dunno.
Also, repeat from yesterday. NCAA requirements suck, and their online form is a horrid mess. Example of question: Have your ever received funding to cover your training expenses for Women's Rowing from someone other than your family or the team/sports club with which you were training? There is no way to answer "No". There is just a way to enter the expenses. No way to specify amount per season, easily. No way to add any relevant info. It's like... No. Nobody has. Feh.
ETA A few days later. The reason she GOT to the question was because in an earlier question, she missed a NOT and it looked like someone had paid for her to train for something blah blah blah. Once she shared the screen, and I read the fine print, we changed that answer from YES to NO, which it needed to be, it was all well and she never got to that screen. Filling out important, legally binding forms with a kid with ADD and dyslexia? Not fun, and fraught with pitfalls. End ETA.
