nwhikerAC is going camping next weekend with her ex (please stay an ex) and his bff, whom she is is also friends with.
They can't bring the damn dog.
Who gets to babysit the damn dog? The parents do, that's who.
This dog is as good as dogs get, but I do not like dogs. He'll be coming over Thursday evening and staying for the weekend. Did I happen to mention that this dog failed out of service dog school because of severe separation anxiety? Yeah, this is going to be fun.
But, otoh, my kiddo needs something, it's something we can do at only moderate annoyance, so eh, we'll do it.
