Ugh. Cancelling trip?

We're going to have to seriously consider cancelling Linnea's trip. I want to talk to my brother tomorrow, but it's not looking good.

I mean, she should at least be travelling after the hurricane, not in the middle of it. But. If it's as strong as they predict, or even slightly less strong, what amount of damage is there going to be?

She flies into NOLA. They'd have to be able to get there from Baton Rouge to pick her up. Linnea is probably not quite savvy enough to get herself to a hotel and not have a meltdown (even if we booked the hotel and walked her through it.)

Plus if brother doesn't have power etc, I don't know that I want to dump the extra kid on them, ya know?

Ugh.

Don't know what to do.

ETA Sunday. Yeah, I cancelled the trip. It just seemed like the best thing to do. She's upset with me, blaming the hurricane's path on my not being optimistic enough. She wanted to wait until tomorrow to cancel, but eh, I don't think it'll make a diff. We could have re-scheduled, but not know how things are going to shape up at the airport and for my brother I just didn't want to reschedule and have to cancel later, perhaps without the no-questions-asked-full credit deal Alaska is offering now. Where is Trump with his magic Sharpie? He could have diverted that storm back out to sea if he'd wanted!
