Yet again...

Yet again, the radiology place posted my mom's scan results directly to her portal, so we got to see them before with just the radiologist's write up.

Not great news, but not terrible either.

The area had high glucose uptake, consistent with a malignancy. That said, it was the single thing: no evidence of metastatic disease, nothing else worrisome.

So yeah. Scary stuff, but not as scary as it could be... I mean, I saw my FIL's PET scan. Pretty much everything lit up from tumors to lymph nodes all over the place.

I'm still pissed that this was released like this, on a Friday afternoon.

So yeah, sick to my stomach, and alternating between fuuuuuck.... and 'well, let's not panic YET'.
