I got vaccine appointments for dh, Linnea, and me for next Saturday... in Yakima.

But! We are headed to Bend that day. And one of the possible routes is... through Yakima.

Whee! Their appointments were open to everyone, no qualifications.

I just want to do a happy dance around the house, I'm so relieved to even have an appointment.

Getting the Pfizer jab, it looks like, so we will have to go back, but eh, worth it!

Perry coaches that morning, and is not going to Bend with us, but it looks like he's going to pick up his girlfriend and they'll go later that afternoon. Also planning on telling AC so she can get an appointment for dipshit.

OMG. Now I just have to avoid getting sick between now and then, right?

congratulations - the hunt for an appointment has been like a full time job for some people! Nice to have it checked off.

Ikr? Someone said there were appointments at the FEMA site (I think) in Yakima, open to all, so I went and registered: it didn't ask about eligibility at all, and I answered all the questions honestly, so eh?

Woo hoo! Peter and I are getting our first (maybe, we don't know which we're getting) tomorrow. Alex's age group opens on the 15th, so we'll get him an appointment then.

15 April is when WA state says we are eligible (David and I are not in any priority group, so normally we'd be eligible at the same time as Perry and Linnea), but this site was apparently open to all, they didn't ask about eligibility and I answered all the questions honestly, so who knows?

We ended up with Pfizer. But they also made an appointment for us for the 2nd shot. One less thing for me to deal with!
