AC got her first dose today too.

She's a phlebotomist, and joined the King County Health Corps or something like that, and works at the Cancer Research Institute, so eh, I'm not surprised.

So now it's me, dh, and my 78 yo aunt, who is in Canada, who are not yet vaccinated.

i'm kind of surprised she's just now getting vaccinated - i know all sorts of young people who got shots months ago because they "work in health care" (but are researchers, with no patient contact as far as i can tell!). I suppose that means UW has different criteria for "health care provider" than UM does (and probably a better one TBH!).

Washington state is very very tight on restrictions, so I was surprised too. It turns out she got a leftover dose, she otherwise would not have been eligible until 1 May, along with the rest of us.
