Dh was going to contact our state rep in Congress yesterday (he ended up figuring things out), and he noticed something: the form she uses requires you to put in a prefix.

If you're Dr or Rev or whatever, you're good.

But if you don't id as male/female, how do you get around the fact that there is no other option aside from Mr or Ms/Mrs/Miss?

Which stared a conversation with Linnea, who pointed out that in schools teachers who are NB are addressed as "Teacher Smith" rather than Mr or Ms Smith. That feels really weird to me, but it's a good solution, I guess.

And this weekend, we're going to take the time to inform our state rep of the issue. LOL. She's a good egg, so I figure a comment will at least be taken into account.
