I saw an ad a while back for Bounce Dryer Sheets that supposedly helps repel pet hairs.
I added a box of 'em -unscented- to my amazon cart this morning.
I feel like an idiot.
We don't use Dryer Sheets, or any fabric softener (I bought some to remove all paper, though). I bought Dryer Sheets once before, almost twenty years ago, when someone said they helped keep mosquitoes away. So we pinned them to hiking gear, almost died because of the smell, and they didn't work, so back to DEET it was.
Anyhow. We all like black clothes. We have a light coloured cat that has more fur than your average polar bear. Another smaller cat with a white belly. And cat hair every-fucking-where.
Linnea goes through lint rollers by the dozen. Perry's fleece coaching jacket could be a fur jacket. I have found Twisp hairs in the lab. Yesterday I pulled a three inch long cat hair (Twisp's) from my eye. We brush the cats. That doesn't seem to reduce the amount of cat fun to gets into everything!
So I bought the Pet Hair Fighter dryer sheets. Maybe they'll work. At least they're unscented.
