Linnea is at rowing.

When I got back from the lab, I picked up the mail. She has a Big Fat Envelope. From WWU, which Perry and I also attend.

And it says "Western Bound!" on one side, and on the other, loud and clear "Congrats and welcome to Western!"

EEEEEEEEEEK!!!!

I'm so freaking excited for her.

I showed dh, but haven't told Perry, because, eh, I want Linnea to see if first.

But now I wait until she's done rowing, and has gotten home. I'm going to tell dh to record her reaction.

WWU may not be the place she attends, but the boost for her ego on being accepted will be welcome, and if she doesn't get in anywhere else, it would be a good place for her.

Plus, they have a rowing team.

That is so exciting!

Toby got an acceptance email from Michigan State today. He is not sure he really wants to go there, but it's nice to have an acceptance. (He isn't even applying to UM.)

Congrats to him! Even if he doesn't want to go, it's a done deal that this acceptance happened, I agree!

Does he know what he wants to do, college or not?

Linnea's options -according to her- are college or street kid with a heroin habit, though she's not sure how she'll afford the heroin on her "measly" allowance.
