Flying solo again, LOL.

Well. Zepbound is unobtainium at this point, at least in my area, and I don't have the time to call every single pharmacy in the state. It really sucks big time.

I'm really ticked off that Lilly prioritized the starter doses, to bring more people in, and the rest of us who've already made a pretty damn big $$ commitment are SOL.

I lost 70+ pounds before meds, but the loss had sloooooooooooooooowed down to almost nothing. At this point, I'm hoping I can at least maintain for a few months. They claim things should be better by end of Q2, but I suspect that's the lie they're telling Wall Street.

In the meanwhile, I guess I'll start doing some research on compounding pharmacies.

Things are moving fast....

Just as we were trying to find a solution for how to take care of my mom while my BIL is needing surgery and in recovery...

... the MC place my sister finally decided on called with a spot.

I was 100% for it, as was my brother but... sister was still hesitating. Note that her dh is my mom's age and they both know there are limited number of good years left.

Anyhow, I told her I'd support any decision she made, and I'd take my mom if she felt she couldn't do this this fast etc.

But at some point, she seems to have decided that she and her dh need the freedom to be able to take advantage of their lives and it looks like my mom will be moving into MC in a few days, before surgery certainly.

So far, it's being presented to her as temporary, and we'll go from there.

This needs to happen. She was going really really well at my sister's but it's not tenable for any of our families to be home bound to take care of her.
