Not a great day

And it happens when the US doesn't have a House of Representatives, an ambassador to Israel, or the full complement of needed military appointments. Thanks Republicans!
Things with my mom aren't going well today (she was up at 7:30 and is really out of it today.) Thank goodness Perry has been home since noon or so to provide some help.
Ah well.
